"Waves Of The Danube" by Romanian composer/military bandleader Ion IVANOVICI(1845-1902). IVANOVICI wrote hundreds of waltzes & other pieces, but this is the one that survives, largely due to being the theme for the Al Jolson-Saul Chaplin sentimental standard, "The Anniversary Song." This and numerous other musical eCards (FredGrams) are designed expressly for young parents (and grandparents) to teach their children the alphabet and, in addition, acquaint them with classical music and great composers.
