Goin' Home (Sympathy)
The Largo movement of the New World Symphony (#9 in E minor, 1893), composed by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak(1841-1904) while visiting/teaching in America. The simple, moving words suggest this is a traditional Negro spiritual, but they were added in 1922 by William Arms Fisher(1861-1948), an American pupil of Dvorak.

Dear Karen and Family,
Your mother Kay was a warm & caring woman with a wonderful personality & amazing inner strength both as a supportive mother & grandmother.
I always enjoyed the special celebrations & holiday dinners we were able to share through the years.
I'm saddened she had to leave us, but so grateful to have been included in her family "circle" whenever we were together.
A quote that I hope brings some comfort reads:
"Women like my mother cannot die.
They are with me still.
As real in flesh as they are in Spirit.
Loving and beloved forever."
I'm here, Karen, if you or your sisters need me for anything. You only have to ask.
Love Always,
Jeannie
