"Look For The Silver Lining," music by Jerome KERN, lyrics by B.G. "Buddy" De Sylva from the Broadway musical "Sally" (1920). Kern would go on to become one of the major composers in the Golden Age of both Broadway and Hollywood, writing the landmark "Show Boat" in 1927 and composing some of Hollywood's best songs for Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Irene Dunne.
